Why go

This year two new major floats debut: The Magic Hat, an elf hat shaped like a house, and Bumper Christmas, a winter fun park on wheels that brings back the baby penguins from Penguins R Kool. Emma Memma returns on the Sounds and Signs of Christmas float, in what organisers call the largest Christmas parade in the Southern Hemisphere.
